7 Scarves to Take into Summer
Summer will be here before we know it and here in Texas, it gets HOT! Summer is the perfect time to wear bright colors and fun prints, which describes so many of our Fringe Scarves designs. Silk wildrags are a versatile addition to any warmer wardrobe (Read last week’s blog for summer styling tips) and here are a few scarves we'll be wearing in this Texas heat!
Banditos
The Bandito is not your normal cotton scarf! The cotton silk blend makes them super soft, light, and a must have summer staple. Cactus and bucking horse designs on the corners give a subtle western flare. Available in Black, Chocolate, Navy, Olive, Red, or Coral. Choose your favorite color or buy all six for extra savings!
Down South Serape
Serape is a popular print for a reason—bright colors are perfect for summer fashion. In true Fringe Scarves fashion, the Down South Serape features conchos in the corners and a black and white patterned border for a unique flare.
Fiesta
You can’t go wrong with a little fiesta! The Fiesta scarf is one of the original designs Jodi Hendrickson created when she started Fringe Scarves (read behind the design here). Inspired by the rich embroidery in Hispanic culture, the vibrant colors, Mexican florals, and southwestern Aztec designs are perfect when paired with a plain white tea or an equally colorful outfit. Available in Black, Turquoise, Yellow, Hot Pink, and Neon Green.
Otomi
There are so many colorful details in the Otomi scarf, you’ll find something new every time you wear it! Inspired by the Otomi style of Mexican art, the prickly pear and steer skull elements add a Western edge. Available in Chambray and Off-White.
Prickly Pear
Prickly Pear, need we say more? We’ve added turquoise details and a thin black border for extra pop. This scarf is beautiful no matter how it’s ties. We especially like seeing it used as a headband this summer or even a bathing suit cover!
Seed Bead
If retro western is more your style the Seed Bead is the scarf for you!
Topsy
The Topsy scarf resembles a beautiful southwestern tapestry with concho detailing along the border and in the corner. This scarf goes with just about any solid color outfit
